Keep Doing What You Love. We’ll help Protect Your Ears and Conserve Your Hearing.
For too long, hearing has been neglected. Some people don’t use hearing protection at all. Some people use earplugs that make music sound muffled, while others wear in-ear monitors that sound great but can get dangerously loud. We want to protect your hearing while still letting you enjoy your music.
Our state-of-the-art, personalized and custom-fitted in-ear monitors (IEMs) and Musician Earplugs work for everyone: from up-and-coming musicians in the school band to some of the biggest names in the industry, and from astronauts to construction workers.
Hearing health is a necessity. Let’s protect your ears.

Dr. Michael Santucci: A Mission To Protect Hearing
Audiologist Michael Santucci (Au.D.), founder of Sensaphonics, has made hearing conservation for musicians his mission in life. He knew we weren’t doing enough to protect our ears, and that we barely understood the impact of loud music on hearing health. That’s why he founded Sensaphonics, creating custom-made high-end in-ear monitors, earplugs, and hearing health technology for everyone who needs it.
Michael has worked with some of the biggest names in music, and people picking up their first instrument. He’s worked with space agencies and NASCAR drivers, and consults on hearing with the World Health Organization. His advocacy is protecting hearing health for people around the world. Our work is the result of his passion.

Sensaphonics: Winner of the Inaugural Safe-in-Sound Award
When the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) awarded their first Safe-in-Sound Awards in 2009, the winner in the category of Innovation in Hearing Loss Prevention was Sensaphonics. We were proud to earn this prestigious award, a testament to our decades-long dedication to preventing noise-related hearing loss.
Sensaphonics was selected to receive the Innovation Award for being a pioneer in combining products, audiology services, and education to reach our hearing loss prevention goals; for our culture of innovation and educational outreach; and for our efforts in raising awareness of the importance of hearing loss prevention among audiologists, the music industry and the general public.
This is an incredible honor,” said Michael Santucci. “To be recognized by NIOSH and the NHCA for our work in high-risk, unregulated environments like the music industry is incredible. It’s an affirmation that we’ve been doing the right thing by developing new products and technologies, educating our customers, and mentoring audiologists in how to help musicians achieve longer, healthier careers by preserving their hearing.”
To this day, Sensaphonics remains the only custom IEM manufacturer to win this prestigious award. We work to continue living up to this honor every day - to help make our world Safe-in-Sound.

"What makes an even bigger difference is the company’s ethos – in particular Michael Santucci.
Everyone else in this market is basically playing the Gillette vs. Schick razor game, you know? Now with 23 drivers! But I don’t hear any of them talking seriously about hearing and responsibility. Dr. Santucci brings that to Sensaphonics products, and he’s an industry leader in that area.”
